Both of these receptors are overexpressed in cancerous cells, & I believe they are overexpressed to different degrees in GBM, depending on the grade of disease. Perhaps we could adapt our metal-based compound using a particular ligand that could also bind the EGF receptor? Or perhaps both therapies could ultimately be used separately or in combination since each binds to a different receptor. I imagine their precise MoA may also vary?
