RE:RE:My reference point on pricing
It was bought by big pharma. Very successful drug in that it works and is very profitable. However, can't speak to what portion of Bayer's profits are from it. It is for a very specific mutated tumour type. I bought the stock because I knew a family in the neighbourhood whose 5yr old son was on oxygen (lung mets) and palliative. He enrolled in the phase 2 trial with LOXO. I bumped into them a month apart and he was playing in the playground with no oxygen, looking like a new child. The dad joked that we should all buy stock. So I did. Lucky.
On that note, the same thinking applies to why I bought TLT. If 2 out of 3 phase 1 b patients with multiple tumours and multiple historic treatments can be cured (one and done) then I'm a believer. May take a while but I'm a believer.
