RE:BTD and AAIf Theralase gets accelerated approval to commercialize it's side-effect free, efficacious cancer treatment I don't think money will be an issue.
Consider some of the long term side effects of existing cancer treatments:
Chemotherapy
Dental problems
Early menopause
Hearing loss
Heart problems
Increased risk of other cancers
Infertility
Loss of taste
Lung disease
Nerve damage
Osteoporosis
Reduced lung capacity
Radiation therapy
Cavities and tooth decay
Early menopause
Heart and vascular problems
Hypothyroidism
Increased risk of other cancers
Increased risk of stroke
Infertility
Intestinal problems
Lung disease
Lymphedema
Memory problems
Osteoporosis
Surgery
Lymphedema
Hormone therapy
Blood clots
Hot flashes (in men as well as in women)
Increased risk of other cancers
Menopausal symptoms
Osteoporosis
Sexual side effects (men and women)
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/cancer/in-depth/cancer-survivor/art-20045524 As far as number of treatments, chemotherapy may involve 24 treatments over an 8 month period. Radiation therapy may involve 50 treatments over a period of 10 weeks. For some forms of breast cancer hormone therapy might be taken daily for 5 to 10 years.
Theralase will be offering a one and done treatment for NMIBC. (Or 2 treatments at the most)
