Nice find DJDawg. Thanks for sharing. Dr. McFarland and her team continue to make great discoveries.
Comment by Johnandrose22 on Dec 09, 2021 7:48pm
Inexplicable!...Wow!!!
Comment by Sunvalley on Dec 09, 2021 8:03pm
Inexplicable....Incapable of being explained or interpreted, unaccountable, mysterious .Sounds good to me! As long as TLT holds the rights to this ground breaking sauce , I,m good with it!!
Comment by enriquesuave on Dec 09, 2021 8:08pm
Nice find Dawg  "This study introduces a ruthenium compound as a light-responsive anticancer agent that is water-soluble, has minimal dark cytotoxicity, is active at concentrations as low as 170 pM in ∼18.5% O2 normoxia and near 10 nM in 1% O2 hypoxia, and exhibits phototherapeutic indices as large as >500,000 in normoxia and >5,800 in 1% O2 hypoxia using broadband ...more

Thanks for the details enriquesuave...just thought it deserved some more highlight ; )
Comment by Sunvalley on Dec 09, 2021 8:58pm
Inexplicable !   Now try to tell me that Big Pharma wont be wanting in on this compound to take a slice of the future benefits , if not the whole pie. Something mysterious that has the ability to cure Cancer ? You have probably heard me say this before but ,"just a matter of time and that timeline is probably a lot shorter then you think".  Thank you enriquesuave for ...more

Have to ask -- are the wow's and the positive comments all based on the abstract or did some of you actually purchase the full content or did you get access through your institution?
Comment by Oilminerdeluxe on Dec 10, 2021 12:28am
Is this under TLT's control?
Comment by Yajne on Dec 10, 2021 12:53am
This NR from almost 4 years ago (link below). Is it Osmium that they're talking about? It seems to me that TLT's coverage of metal based compounds is very broad and would include the latest. Let's hope......  https://theralase.com/theralase-researcher-discovers-super-potent-anti-cancer-drugs/
Comment by Oilminerdeluxe on Dec 10, 2021 1:04am
Thanks, Yajne. Interesting.
Comment by CancerSlayer on Dec 10, 2021 2:31am
I'm pretty certain it's not osmium as the abstract showed two "Ruthenium-based" compounds.  As shown below, one ligand of each compound does contain "S" bonds (4 S in total).  I believe the S represents sulfate.  I noted that one difference between the new compounds (Cmpd 1 & 2) & TLD-1433 is that TLD-1433 contains only 3 S in total ...more
Comment by CancerSlayer on Dec 10, 2021 3:19am
Hi Yajne....the following are the 2020 results for Osmium:   Note:  The phototherapeutic index (PI) for Osmium in 1% O2 hypoxia conditions was significantly lower for Osmium (PI > 90) compared to this more recent compound (PI > 5800).  As far as I can tell, the Osmium treatment (in mice) also required significantly higher concentrations to be active.  It looks ...more

Without paying for the full text of the new paper one can still glean quite a bit from the supporting information provided along with the abstract: This study introduces two new ruthenium compounds. To test them, the researchers cultivated samples of breast cancer, NSCLC and 2 kinds of melanoma cell lines. Each cell line was divided into two separate well plates with different oxygen culture ...more

sure looks like it to me... but, what do i know.
Comment by Alamir1111 on Dec 10, 2021 8:33am
comp.1 is Ru(6,6 dmp) comp. 2 is Ru(2,9 dmp) So it's ruthenium
Comment by Rumpl3StiltSkin on Dec 10, 2021 10:18am
Yes, from discussing these going back years now. Osmium, and the Iridium (Super Compounds) are all covered via TLT's exclusivity agreement with Dr. Sherri. TLT used to release these NRs :-)
Comment by CancerSlayer on Dec 10, 2021 10:54am
I believe the following metals are all covered:  Ruthenium, Osmium, Iridium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Rhenium, Iron, Cobalt, Rhodium, Nickel & Platinum.
Comment by Alamir1111 on Dec 10, 2021 11:31am
I think the new compounds are activated by microwave length or xray your thought?
Comment by Alamir1111 on Dec 10, 2021 12:01pm
Water soluble means whole body Xray no issue with penetration So inexplicable means it's a cure for our problems Now does tlt own rights for ru complexes that is the billion $ question
Comment by menoalittle on Dec 10, 2021 12:15pm
>> Now does tlt own rights for ru complexes that is the billion $ question why is it still a question? did I not already post TLT's patent for it?
Comment by menoalittle on Dec 10, 2021 12:20pm
guess I didn't think it was rocket science to understand what was written in the patent... lol. but, perhaps it's that lack of grasping the relatively obvious that's exactly why this stock hasn't actually moved up as fast or as high as some of us might have been expecting
Comment by Alamir1111 on Dec 10, 2021 12:30pm
Tlt owns Tld1433 Does that mean we own every discovery that Sherry McFarland makes
Comment by Rumpl3StiltSkin on Dec 10, 2021 12:43pm
Anything PDT related to the metal groups discussed here today, yes. See Cancer Slayers post below.
Comment by Alamir1111 on Dec 10, 2021 1:02pm
So Sherry is employed by U of T paid by u of t tlt gets all the freebies from research made by them wow .
Comment by enriquesuave on Dec 10, 2021 1:10pm
She or the university is entitled to a very small royalty on future revenue which is customary.  Every discovery with these metals is covered by these patents owned by Theralase.
Comment by Alamir1111 on Dec 10, 2021 1:19pm
Hi Enrique if you're right then Tlt can easily corner every aspect of cancer treatment
Comment by menoalittle on Dec 10, 2021 12:59pm
Did you at least try reading the patent? here the link (again, seeing you apparently didn't see my post earlier today): US9737565B2 - Metal-glycoprotein complexes and their use as chemotherapeutic compounds - Google Patents can't see there is any question about a ruthinium based compound...   nevertheless, I'll clip the following gems from it the above abstract: The ...more

What, in God's name, could Dr, Mc Farland/ Team have discovered that could be rendered with "inexplicable potency" and potentially under the license of Theralase Technologies?!
