Thats a good point Lesalpes, ATS is an Alternate Trading system and I will include a link below to read more about the advantages some are getting by using the ATS, and its not the regular traders like ourselves getting the advantage. But it is very positive if its a Dark Pool senerio.  Enjoy the link, I know I did. 275k on ATS and  75k of that was the TSX https://www.investopedia.com ...more

So there is ATS's, MTF's, ECN's and of course HFT's, Block positioners, Dark Pools,  and we must'nt forget the Anonymice, and lastly of course there is...........US.
