Oh, it's not the dilution that irks me.  Far from it (as I quite well understand how the market works.). It's the simple fact that some of the (supposedly wealthy) folk wanting to participate in the pp don't see or understand that this is the wrong play to make at this point in time.  Yes, I know that may have worked nicely for them in the past.  But this time around is

In case it wasn't clear that I was referring to those that were currently selling TLT stock in order to (hopefully) participate in this upcoming pp... well, that's what I am specifically calling out as being doubly dumb, and the wrong play to make right now.

What makes you so sure that you know more than they do, and that it's a dumb play? They've never been wrong, so far, unfortunately.

Maybe I do, maybe I don't.  Call it a hunch if you want, but I've been around the block a time or two here and have never made this sorta call before around any of the previous placements.  And I suppose whether I'm right or wrong about it will be clear soon enough. (Before the leaves fall, if not much sooner...) But I won't mention it again. It is what it is.

Well said.... Although the time cost can weight heavily on people's minds, I'm always reconsidering/rebalancing my financial position with company risk.  Each derisking event changes that balance & hence my performance expectations.  We've been swamped with a lot of derisking events in the past month (both clincially & preclinically).  The amount of dilution
