RE:RE:RE:What will change the one year descent ? I am new
then I guess you know how difficult it is to actually do business in India regardless of the model. Indians want things that are extremely cost effective and this may not equate to profits. But you also know what I am stating about the stature of Reliance. Why would they be on board? India is by far a very tough market, perhaps a seeming paradox as is everything else over there. But I should say this one thing, I don't find you asking to buy a urinal there extremely amusing--sorry, I know this is tongue and cheek and India desperately needs proper infrastructure--I have bought into a company which maybe now when I am looking at where you are coming from are calling worthless and I may as well buy the urinal--look maybe one day, I will donate a good chunk of my earnings so that India can continue to improve its infrastructure and this I will say is not because people over there can't do it and need outside help, there is just a lack of will to do it--another paradox. My Dad would keep saying India is a poor country and I keep disagreeing with him--well if the corruption wasn't that much and the rich actually did something India could be a lot better off--in fact I had read billions worth of gold and jewels was found in a few temples and yet the roads outside them are poorly kept. In New Delhi where my relatives live Vasant Vihar there are very rich buildings and make shift shatty shacks just outside of them, thesame as outside the malls which are non-different than what we see in North America but with lots of poor housed in the same shack like things--really heart breaking to say the least! In so far as Mr. Gupta, well let's see what he does, so far things haven't necessarily gone too well in recent times and there have been many who have taken issue with him telling people things are looking good thereby encouraging them to hold their equities at .40 level while he was selling--I wasn't there for that and so this is hear sa to me. I am giving Mr. Gupta the benefit of the doubt and looking to see where things go from the time I am personally involved although I do read what others have stated and keep it in mind. I guess I will have to wait and see how management does and where things go. glta
