Los Azules - TNR vs MAI - what does TNR really havI don't follow MAI's side other than here and there - but clearly any dispute is BAD for business.
I've put the images side by side - to help us TNR investors understand about the risks and potentially what we HAVE rights to.FromMAI's published image of Los Azules deposit and from their own resourcereport summarizing 2010 latest drill holes I think the following imagereally settles whether TNR's
25% back-in on the northern part of Los Azules is really worth something.
Iam a simple investor. I take risks because I know underlying there'ssome tangible value - provided the legal risks is accounted for.
25% of even 50% of the Los Azules deposit still works out to at LEAST 12.5% of
13 + billion lbs of copper - which by my Radio Shack calculator gives me
1.6 billion lbs of copper. Using only
.03/lb copper (longterm) that still gives me a value of
$48million in situ for TNR's claims.
Their market cap is $23 million today. (TNR on TSX Venture - look it up)
Evenif the risk is 50/50 with losing the property to TNR - if I'm RobMcEwan I'd just buy out the company and save the headache! Chances arethere's some cash in the company and value in other projects to make itworthwhile!!
