That was a good offer in line with the peer group. Barry did it again with RMP. ARC has acquired a few more energy firms lately, so they will most likely merger TOO with their other producers.

See another debt-free energy firm where insiders own 50% and it's very undervalued according to this detailed article from Seeking Alpha:

EEI has already received a buyout offer at $14 but it was rejected by the board. I expect a new offer in the coming monnths.

The only fly in the ointment being that the Toro land position is poor. Depleted pressure in Hamilton Lake and scattered shows on the rest. Second tier prospects which is why the usual Viking players did not jump on it. Toro did nothing but destroy value. , unless one was smart enough to participate in only the last financing.  Steelhead must have been panicking to make a deal after ...more

I lean towards your way of thinking except to say that recent viking transactions have sped the process and too's divesture of some non-core forced the hand.the fella at steelhead has a war chest and no doubt arc getting antsy. I got a double off a modest position-was waiting to buy something next week from the tax loss candidates but all good. I think this was a gift horse but of course,the ...more
