Decline of Woodland Caribous in Charlevoix :

In 2017, MFFP observed 56 animals. In 2019 they counted 26 and now 19 in december 2020.

They will have to fence them off. So for sure there are no more Caribous around the Silicon Ridge to disturbe, they almost vanished.

Now that they want to fence them off ... i guess that we can't be disturbing fenced off caribous...

Is it possible to read from these experiences any hint for RRS ? Whether positive or negative, RRS is entitled to a decision with all the consequences IMO.

....alfhope..the wait for MFFP to decide policy of the Woodland Caribou ONLY affects Silicon Ridge (SR) as Snow White is out of their jurisdiction. In past, CEO Sean has iterated that since there are millions of $ invested into SR, whether SR goes ahead & gets permitted or not, RRS will come out with either a permit or compensation. That is because if SR is permitted, then the Si mining will ...more
