EVNi

RRS originally wanted to spin off their Langmuir project into a new, wholly owned nickel subsidiary, but now they only hold a 20% stake. But the organs of the new company are the same as those of RRS (Samson, Davis, Gingras, Wolfenberg,). Wouldn't a spin-off of the project including the allocation of shares of the newly founded Co. to the shareholders of RRS have been more shareholder-friendly ?

Someone had to fund the new company which entails the funders acquiring equity (we dont have millions sitting around) plus this is perhaps better from a risk management point of view.  Good question for Sean.

On the plus side exploration may reveal significantly more nickel which entitles us (RRS) to millions in cash or shares or a 51% stake in EVNi. So it's not like we're stuck with a smaller and smaller portion of the pie.

As I said who was going to fund the exploration that's now going to happen this year?

At who's expense. No dilution right? Also, did anyone expect the same management? :) Oh I guess that part was left off when the announcement was made. https://ceo.ca/@accesswire/rogue-update-langmuir-project-sold-to-ev-nickel-inc This is when the public becomes private. :)

Sean and Paul hold a bunch of RRS and probably personally know other major shareholders. Do you really believe they're trying to pull a fast one? Everyone's interests are aligned in my opinion and I'm happy the exploration is going forward. Hopefully we see some more nickel and a successful EVNi. Cheers!

Everyone interest is aligned right? You get 20% of something you owned 100% of. :) Also now you get half of management team time on the direct shares you own. The other half of their time is on the 20% RRS.V own. Oh yeah, RRS stock price has been stellar in the past three years. You think that EVNi success will show up in RRS.V price now? :) . RRS.V shareholders are not getting a direct shares of ...more

I also get the following when I think about it... Exploration that would not have otherwise happened A name that will probably generate some excitement for new investors **No dilution to my RRS shares** Risk sharing and Hopefully millions in cash or shares of a HOT nickel company or 51% of it.  I guess we'll see soon see what the market thinks about it. Cheers!  ...more

Precisely. How does being an indirect owner of EvNickel now benefit RRS shareholders?  Also would management now not be getting two pay checks? EvNickel and RRS? :)
