Holy Cow! (I mean ELEPHANT!)

ELEPHANT & THOR

Taranis follows an exploration doctrine that is as old as the hills: Acquire 100% interest in an under-explored exploration project that holds fantastic exploration upside and throw everything you have at it to make it into a mine for our shareholders.

At Thor, we have 250 drill holes in a near-surface epithermal deposit over 2km long that is valuable in itself. But, then there is the 'Elephant' in the room. Deep penetrating geophysical surveys and geological modeling have shown there is something else below the deposit, and it is BIG. In fact it is over 4 km in length!

It is only by gaining knowledge on our epithermal deposit were we able to identify the 'Elephant' and her two twin sisters, Jumbo and Horton. Both of these targets have EM-37 anomalies that have never been explored, and they are believe to be diatremes that have originated from the 'Elephant', similar to the Thor epithermal deposit that shows obvious connections to the 'Elephant'. Sound exciting? You bet!

Taranis is a seasoned exploration company that uses big-company exploration methods to identify targets like the 'Elephant'. We use a unique exploration approach called Aim Small, Hit Small to generate opportunities like this for our valued shareholders.

Yeah. i like this picture of the deposits alot more. The other one was good but this helped me visualize the trunk/tusk metaphor and understand where the previous shallow drill holes are. I understand the geology and the topography at surface better now.  This helps me visualize the mining...assuming all that rock is mineralized that is. Lets drill!!
