Marcus

You're a good guy....I admire the fact you welcome opposite opinions.

The fact is, I've been on these boards for 15 years and there are trolls, or people who hold a loyalty to "their side". These people usually hold a "shet in your face" attitude or they're here to disrupt our conversations. ....fact is I can't see where this transaction effects us much or our value. It simply gives us a clue as what is Rudy's long term plans are.

Fact is, yes Seabridge has a lot of gold...but it will take lots of money and time to get it out. It might as well be on the bottom of the ocean concealed by the Titanic....Ive heard this new real estate they bought fro Pretium is very low grade. so CSK...good for you. Our facts are still in play and getting better everyday.

[lecture mode off] As to SEA, frankly ...more

When there is a transaction in your near market both in terms of resources and geography, it is a matter of interest. What motivated Pretium to give up on Snowfields and grab $100 million and some potentially deferred compensation?  They wanted to clean up their balance sheet, and I beleive they took a substantial write-down as well which will give them some tax relief.  They have some ...more

Thanks, CountryGent! Got it. I certainly did not mean to stop you guys form thinking about it. But I tend to use shutters these days, partly becasuse reducing complexity can be comforting and also because I am distracted by other developments that will have a bigger or more direct impact on my investments. In my case: the Brexis negotiations on edge. Thanks to the votors in the US Bors Johnson ...more
