RE:RE:RE:RE:snap crackle pop --there is always next yearCG - Good points. I agree that Dino has been a good steward of the Teuton share structure over the years. I hope a Treaty Creek spinout can eventually be done successfully at a great price for shareholders. After that, the surviving Teuton entity will still have a full stable of horses ... and, after farming out some more Golden Triangle projects on good joint venture terms, the value of the other properties will begin to be realized.
While it is impossible to know the true value of projects without drilling, it is possible to extrapolate possible value based on past exploration successes in the area. In recent years, big scores in the Golden Triangle have vindicated Dino's early staking in the area. In my opinion, foresight and strategy during difficult market conditions is what sets up a project generator for success.
After a promising portfolio of projects is assembled, it is disappointing when short-sighted management lets it go for a small premium. I experienced this result with Kiska in 2017 - I wish management would have enacted the necessary safeguards to avoid a takeover. Like with Teuton, there was a lot of unrealized value in the Kiska project portfolio.
https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/aurico-metals-completes-acquisition-of-kiska-metals-615670963.html This year, I have realized significant gains with Teuton ... but still retain a majority of my position. With some of the gains, I have increased my position in Eagle Plains resources. If you don't already have shares, you may want to check it out ... lots of drilling this fall. Like Dino, Tim Termuende of Eagle Plains has run a clean ship over the years ... very little share dilution (no rollbacks). I have sunk money into my share of "junior dogs" over the years. Now, I mostly stick with well-run project generators and royalty streamers... with a history of success. GLTA Teuton longs!
Disclosure: I own shares of Teuton and Eagle Plains, just my opinions, not investment advice (do your own due diligence).
