Should Teuton buy out AMK?

So there has been some forum talk about Tudor buying out AMK. What about Teuton buying out AMK? Sound too far fetched? Maybe.

The scenario I contemplate is what happens if one of Teuton's other plays makes a discovery? It would have to be in one in which they have a larger ownership position, which could potentially double the share price. What now?

Perhaps a financing, then a share plus cash offer for AMK. The result would be a 40% CARRIED position in Treaty Creek, plus the NSR.  Now Teuton is no longer a small potatoe.  I would argue, it may even hold higher value than Tudor, given the entire 40% is carried to a production decision.  At a minimum, it would mean the combined TUO/AMK is unlikely to continue trading at a pro-rated discount to Tudor.

Since Teuton has a significant premium to AMK now, it becomes a question of whether AMK would agree to a price somewhere in between the valuations so that Teuton could make a profit when Treaty Creek is sold.  AMK's 480 million shares at $.18 are worth $86.4 million.  Teuton's 60 million shares at $2.34 are worth $140.4 million, a 62.5% premium.Tudor's 200 million shares at ...more

sheer speculation on my part Sea or it's eventual buyer might be cadidates to buy out amk.... Sea to get some leverage .... And the major buying sea --well intending to buy sea -- getting some certainty in regard to negotiating its deal in regards to the tunnel.. Or  an interloper like newcrest who might want to throw a wrench into the engine and get its foot in the door before anyone ...more

Looks like most folks are happy where we are now.   I did crunch some numbers based on the scenario I initially presented. A 50/50 cash and share offer would end up with AMK shareholders owning about 12-15% of the new Teuton, which would have a total of about 80M shares issued.  Note, this was dependent on TUO making a discovery on one of their other properties first, which doubled ...more

Now that is a bizarre suggestion. Teuton is not substantive enough to pull that off. It is a nonstarter.  Let's put it another way. Over a year ago in one of his videos ken konkin said treaty creek needs a lot more derisking before the majors will get serious about it... No one is going to put up what a billion dollars plus without seeing some solid evidence that the project can be ...more
