I can't pound the table any harder.  This is what will get the market's attention, because it's the Company itself saying, 

"We're mad as hell about our Share price, we're not going to take it any more, and here's what we're going to do about it!

It wouldn't even have to be very big, because the psychological effect alone will carry the ball.

Does TVI itself have cash to buy shares?  TVIRD is making money, but I didn't see anything about dividend payments, did I miss it?  I saw that debt was being paid off.  They would need cash to buy back shares. Any word on TVIRD listing on the PSA?  Or the view of mining by a new gov?

Cliff is CEO of both TVI Pacific and TVIRD.  There is, supposedly, some JV agreement with the other TVIRD owners that all parties have to agree on things such as dividends, but I suspect anything Cliff wants, Cliff gets.  If you read the MD&A carefully, it does appear TVIRD can pay and has paid dividends, so there's the ca$h.   And again, I can't emphasise this ...more

Fair enough, there's lots of shares outstanding though,  and costs money to do.  It would have to be worth while for investors I would think.

I should have read deeper.  They seem to at this point be getting dividends of just short of $400K CAD after Phillipine taxes.  I would think this is enough to keep the lights on for now,  but not likely enough to buy back shares.  When they get through to the good dirt, and production stays high, it should ramp up.  A couple of times they mention not getting listed ...more
