companies like to consolidate as with less shares o/s they feel they can raise funds more easily.

but shareholders generally hate them as the price tends to dip after a consolidation just as it seems more pricey... I'd rather see one later after they can get more established....

Overall it shouldnt matter ... but price is psychological
