Brand new, UNUSED, and starting bids are hilarious ($25 and even $5). When I said they were liquidating for pennies on the dollar, I meant it-- huge discounts, which favor local Canadian buyers (considering shipping costs).
Hey Dragon, would you like a mint condition (never been used) Sepro CMX1500 20HP Motor? Bid starts at 5 bucks. How about a Unused Eaton Freedom Motor Control Center? Well, that also starts at 5 dollars.
By the way, we are talking equipment that sells for over 1 grand, in case anyone didn't know.
Seems like Canadian taxpayers wasted millions here. That is... unless some great Canadian company in the rare earth processing field bought the plant at a discount and intends to restore its use. Who could that be, though?
