OEM offtake or NO offtake

Dragon says yes
Bob doesn't see it
I have no f$cking clue
If past history holds, ucore gets zero.
maybe ryan is actually worthy and builds a business?  It's possible   Are the odds 90% or 9% ?

get your popcorn ready!!!!

timeline for an offtake?   Would assume 2023?  Unless ucore keeps PP until shareholders so no.
up to this point ,we have all been too clueless to. ( well not me.   I just have shares from regular market).  Anyone think ucore gonna pull off functional SMC by end of 2024?
and not because " ucore said so".  That's meaningless at this point.

Im hoping construction happens in LA. on or before summer. But honestly, who the hell knows. Still no word on a brownfield building that will require lease hold improvements to facilitate SMC1. Is the CDP planned to be a functioning SMC1, or are they building from scratch? Im kinda confused about what the plan is with the CDP, my thoughts were always that it was planned to use for production. IN ...more

In one video, Ucore stated 20 tpa for CDP (PR's jstated tens of tpa). 20 tpa is one percent of SMC1 planned initial 2000 tpa. So whatever RSX equioment in in CDP wouldn't go far in getting to SMC1 2000 tpa.

Makes sense Bob now I understand  didn't think ucore would even be dumb enough to build the same thing twice
Comment by VeritasBob on Feb 01, 2023 6:32pm
To sum up: CDP planned 20 tpa capacity is 100 times smaller than SMC1 planned initial 2000 tpa capacity; and is 1000 times smaller than MP Materials' planned 20,000 tpa capacity.

thanks for the clarification!

Reason why mp market cap 150x ucore  ( 40 million vs 6billion) its all relative  can ucore close the gap   Yep   If it eventually produces 5 million tons annually it can how much?   Above my pay grade $75 a share?    Reason #1 why dragon is full of it $7.5 a share   Yes   If it actually becomes a niche small time players   Odds   ???

Pip: "If it eventually produces 5 million tons annually". That would require 1000 SMC's, each at the expaanded 5000 tpa.  One expanded SMC woluld be 5000 tpa, which is 1000 times less than 5 million tons annually.. If you meant 5 million kg annually, which is 5000 tps, i.e., one expanded SMC, you think that would result in Ucore's market cap tbeing as big as MP's?
Comment by PipinoCuevas on Feb 01, 2023 9:56pm
Meant 5000 in now way am I expected ucore to be close to MP fact is, if it achieved 1/10 the market cap it would be great ( unlikely too)
Comment by PipinoCuevas on Feb 01, 2023 4:42pm
Rod its confusing  if they can run as much as they say thru CDP, why aren't they using that as pseudo smc1?
