RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:China tightens control of rare earths... UURAF
Derm's logic is limited by his very simplistic linear thinking consisting of China bad, USA good and the supply chain is a straight line between Ucore and the DOD.  What a SIMPLETON.

Suppliers to DOD consists of a complex chain of private and public companies that get what they need based on the same thing any company does such as the quality of the product or service, certainty of supply, environmental and safety considerations and most of all COST.  If there is technological sensitivity to the product then security will be a consideration but that is not the case for supplying a raw material such as REE.  This supply chain is NOT and will NOT be limited to the U S of A regardless of your linear flag waving logic.

For quite some time and currently the supply chain includes REE from China because they provide the material to the chain at the best available price.  When supply becomes a concern the companies, contractors and subcontractors within the chain will alter the supply to get the material from the next best available option(s).  With all his flag waving I wonder if he even knows that Ucore is a Canadian company.

Ucore currently is nothing more than a piece of ground covered with trees.  No proven resource, no BFS, no proven separation technology, no one to sent their REO's to, no finished product.  IF they can pull this together they are still years away from producing regardless of what REE prices are doing today.  Just a piece of ground and a dream right now.
