What Ucore is doing this summer, Questions for Mark. To Pip,
I hope you had a grand time in Italy. When I was there in the early 70s. The young ladies were either butt ugly or could have walk out of Playboy. I remember the food fondly. In Naples, we found this hole in the wall cafe that had three patios on the backside of the hill that looked out onto the bay on the road to the cameo factary. They had a pasta and lobster dish to die for.
Okay, what I think Ucore will be doing this summer. They have 1.26 million for rent and prepping the building for the commerial plant. Depend on how long the building has sat empty. Upgrades to power, HVAC, and water. Building locker room and break/lunch room. Install air gap computer systems. Security fencing. Does it have rail service? Any changes to roads. Security cameras. Security sweeps to make sure no bugs in building to start. Ordering parts for the commercial plant. Even off the shelf parts can have a long lead time.
Then to start building the commercial plant in the fall.
Now Mark, on average put out one PR every month. I think that we can all agree that Mark can dance around an answer to the point none of us are sure what he said. Lawyer or government speak.
So here are the questions I love to have plain text answers too.
1. The DEMO plant is it done or only parts of it?
2. Can the DEMO plant produce REE oxides, Scanium, and battery metals, now?
3. Can I get a tour of the DEMO plant as a share holder in the company?
4. Of the two tons of sample ore or concentrate how much is left?
5. Is Ucore already testing other ores or concentrates?
6. Has anybody bothered to check with Gates or Musk to see if they would invest?
I don't think Ucore is acting like a company that it is not sure it has funding. Am I happy that they are letting us wonder if they have funding. Not in the least. Anything I can do about it, NO.
So it is a wait and see summer again. Hopefully Ucore is a little more forth coming this summer than summers of the past.
Still hoping for a tour.
