After listening to the latest videos, it looks like Ucore has a plan. Partnership with a supplier of mixed REE concertrate and supply contracts with OEMs and governments. I have stated this many times, all Ucore has to do is separate heavy REEs to oxides per spec. That is it. Nowhere else but China are heavy REEs separated. When Ucore finishes separating the REE heavies out of the mix in the three tanks. The DOD and the OEMs get there samples to test. Ucore get funding.
The people with the money are not funding until the testing is done. They have been burned to many times. How many millions did DOD give MP and lynas and got nothing. Nice work if you can get it.
With funding in hand, Ucore will form a partnership with a REE supplier. Maybe the same one that they are using for the testing this spring. Who knows. None of us. Pip, keeps harping on the six OEMs that started talks and the two that are left. If you are the guy that has to decide to spend millions of your companies money would you be cautious and want to see product and have it tested?
USG/DOD wants a heavy REE separtion plant on US soil. Not in China's control or even part ownership. The Canadain government wants a light REE separation plant. Why? Could be because the only working REE mine in Canada is a light REE ore mix.
