Ucore's CDF Separation Facility

I know a lot of people are Qs about their timing on SMC facility in Alaska. On their website it mentione Design will take most of 2021 which means no revenue. However, if you read their website on CDF they are using that facility for several things.

THE RAPIDSX™ CDF WILL BE USED TO:

1) VALIDATE THE PHYSICAL DESIGN OF THE RAPIDSX™ PLATFORM AT SCALE;

2) VALIDATE THE SPECIFIC PROCESS FLOWSHEETS DEVELOPED FOR PARTICULAR REE AND OTHER FEEDSTOCKS UNDER CONSIDERATION;

3) GENERATE SAMPLES FOR POTENTIAL CUSTOMER AND LICENSEE EVALUATION; AND

4) TO COMPLETE A DETAILED TECHNO-ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT OF RAPIDSX™-BASED SEPARATION, AS PART OF THE COMMERCIALIZATION PROCESS.

Item 1 will be very important to have a facility to do research and refining production issues and test to scale...When IBC MRT do come into the picture this facility will be critical for interoperability and integration testing.

Item 2 is as important as the technology, refining process to specific REE minerals and validating the feedstock processes. As MRT are integrated processes might change and need refining.

Item 3 as I said before, Ucore wants to license their technology and processes to miners or investor who are interested in a Separation facility. This is a perfect demo size facility to show and tell...as well as help customer refine processes to their needs.

Item 4 is pretty much the end goal.

As I see this, once the CDF is up and running, they might be able to sell license to various REE mining companies or private investors (remember Hexagon is partners). Selling licenses is lucrative, usually involve design, deployment and support services. So we might not need to wait till the SMC to be up to see some revenue...This is how things go in tech. With their continuous win in court against IBC, license could include MRT if and when their have final acquisition, a bonus for potential future enhancement.

Andy interesting thoughts A question I wouldnt mind answered is why so long to design SMc They were starting from scratch  Ucore was suppose to have SMC with MRT design up and going by end of 2020 (per NR 2 plus yrs ago)   I know its not as easy as just swapping out MRT FOR RAPID SX. But I would think alot of other design stuff shoulve been done previously. Maybe i am incorrect ...more

The reason I bring up the previous NR because it say design etc for both MRT and NON MRT This was why I was wondering why new design would take so long Figure alot of this maybe shouldve been done before This is not a bash  Just a legit discussion point

Think I answered my own question re reading this they engaged ibc to design it, hence it did not get done My mistake   disregard previous posts

Pip, haven't you worked out by now, Ucore only constructs PDF's.

You answered your own Q...as the agreement was in place but due to litigation I would say it didn;t proceed. I don;t think we are saying RapidSX is ready, what we are saying is they are building a CDF so prove and get it ready. What REE companies separation is NOT a science project, maybe you should be honest to yourself. My opinion only, I said this before...being in the same building as a ...more

Havent heard anything RE lexi thought it was a real promising first "hub/spoke" at the time maybe steve rubbing everyone wrong?   TORONTO, March 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lithium Energi Exploration, Inc. (TSXV:LEXI) (“LEXI” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has fulfilled all financial obligations with respect to its previously announced ...more

If you go to their website, they still have MRT information and Steve as board of director. I think the website is dated, their stock is not doing well...so maybe they are taking it slow as both companies really don;t have $$$ to move forward. With the litigation Ucore already have agreement with IBC that anything in that sector it belongs to Ucore...3 sectors...1) REE, 2) Recycle, and 3) Sand oil ...more

Lol, in commercial language RSX is still a science experiment, just as MRT has always been. You guys should try a little honesty at least with yourselves! Plenty of science experiments out there, another with funding, and with feed, shortly, interesting selective recovery capabilty, "process to mkt", perhaps ideal for a smaller operation if the economics prove up, thought the ...more
