Can Ucore make it?

Hello all,
It is late Sunday night, wife is off to be bed.  We are snowed in curently.  In a day or two the plow will get to our street.  We got at least six inched of snow, the first of the year.  We are fine.  Still got power and the gas is still working.  I have coffee and cat food to last.  After I finish this post I have a Jack Reacher novel on the nook to get back to.

Ausheds is right there are six big REE companies in China, as you can see they are being moved into one control group to better control REE prices.  IMHO China is will be making the squeeze on prices next year and there is little or no hope of anybody being able to counter it.  If China cuts it's exports REE to drive up prices, can Lynas increase production to meet the demands of the world?  Maybe Lynas can, maybe they can't.  Either way there will be increase pressure for national leaders to do something about it.  That is something that I think will help Ucore.  The long term reader/posters of this board know that having is deposit is only the begining of the supply chain.  You have to dig it up, seperation of ore from rock, crush the ore, make it into a concertrate, then do seperation into each of the REE elements.  Which is the stumbling block for most of the world.  Enter Ucore with RSX.  Is it better than regular SX.  All we have read here says it is.  Same chenicals, just different plumping.  Which makes is cheaper, faster, and better.
Why no results?  I don't know.  Maybe they are asking the wrong questions.  A long time ago I tried to write a report with the help of a lady friend.  I was trying to explain why we could not finish a job.  We had done the job but we a had a new QA inspector that was so new he shined like a new penny.  To get him to sign off on the job.  We had to go over what we did three to four times before he got it.  We found out that it boiled down to words used and how we asked questions.  Maybe the QA people they have doing the results understand the chemicls but not the mechanical end of it.  Remember China has tried to limit the knowledge on SX as a way to control it.
Should Ucore put out a PR giving a progress report on RSX, problems encountered.  Like Covid lock down or one of the inspectors got sick.  The whole place has to be cleaned.  The QA people want a better breakdown of this section because it is not explained well enough to pass.  So they have to go back and redo it.  Yes, I think a progress report before the new year would help a lot.
Ringtail has showed up for midrats and headed off into the night.  Hopefully to a nice warm place or at least a dry one.
Good night all,
Dragon
PS Hey, hope you all had a good Xmas.

Dragon  As usual, that's a whole lot of typing for saying nothing Looks to me reemf and tmrc are moving forward faster than ucore issue is with all of them is they May never be a real business  ucore isn't even close no 3rd party results, no commission of pilot plant. After commissioning, it could take way more than months, like yrs.  How u gonna license rapid SX ( if ...more

The IMC team continues to make great strides in the RapidSX technology commercial deployment effort," commented Pat Ryan, P.Eng., Ucore Chairman and CEO. "This latest round of extraction-rate testing foreshadows the expected results as we embark on an Independent Evaluation of the RapidSX technology at the Kingston facility which will take place over the summer months of 2021.  ...more

Pip did you not hear the audio from the Alaska state meeting that was posted on here recently? Literally the first thing mentioned was ucore and the importance of the project as part of the agenda. That alone is speculation enough to feel pretty good about the future prospects of this company, in my opinion.

Mick point well taken, I admit I didn't hear it on that note , I have listened to some governors meetings, Ketchikan meetings and a few others over the years.  Nothing has come to fruition yet. Heck Lisa M was talking ucore for years and still nothing. so I get your interest but at this point speculation isn't cutting it for me I admit it would only take one positive move, as in aidea ...more

Same to you Even the perseverance of the company is something that should be noted. When there isn't any tangible evidence, I think looking at the small things is important (good and bad, in this case, good!)

Perseverance doesn't impress me if they are still getting paid decent salaries for that if they are getting bare bones salary and stock in case it is successful, then that shows a lot of skin in game and risk being taken.  I can get down to that i d9nt really know their salary structure.  Stopped combing thru the mda and such when I realized it's a fools game. Well the biggest businessman of all of them, Randy Johnson, doesn't seem to be taking much or any profit at the moment nor does he seem like the type of guy to invest into any venture lightly, without a belief in the outcome. But, time will tell

I believe randy has gotten some favorable treatment after the RO and the purchase of pilot plant back to IbC after 5 yrs of our life was wasted with an iron clad deal that was a dang farce He isn't hurting.   And I would guess if he had to do it again, he would wish he never heard of ucore i do know developers have a LT outlook so maybe in 2030 it works out well for him for us? We will ...more

Dear Pip, Ragging on your talking points over and over will not make the results get here any faster. They will get here, when they get here.  Do we all wish it was faster, of course.  Look is Ucore selling assets, no.  They are just switch paths again.  They were prepared to get money from AIDEA and buy land and build a building to put the SMC in.  Then changed to a ...more

Lol Dragon, you've made a late run for 'Most Hilarious post 2021', can't see anyone trumping it unless kdan chips in with another moonshot: "Look is Ucore selling assets, no." Like WHAT assets??? Hilarious, what have they got that anyone in their right mind would want to buy for a buck???
