Dr. Boyd Davis' statement in PR doesn't mention cost savings

Dr. Boyd Davis, Principal of KPM, is basically Ucore's rent-a-geek now that the original IMC people are gone. It seems strange that his statment (shown below) in the PR doesn't mention anything about RapidSX's supposed CapEx or OpEx savings. If it really saved as much as suggested (claimed?) in the Indepdendent evaluation PR, which was parroated by the bought and paid for "independent" analyst Hykawy, wouldn't it be mentioned in such a statement touting its merits? Note that all we ever saw was Ucore's summary of the independent evaluation results, not the actual report itself.

IMC’s solvent extraction process, RapidSX™, has different components that allow us to Westernize this standard chemical process so that ‘technology risk’ is eliminated while in compliance with North American environmental and worker safety standards. The cellular design is scalable and allows for rapid production capacity expansion in a safe and responsible manner,” said Dr. Boyd Davis, a Principal of KPM.

If there wasn't any cost savings, project won't happen capex was 2/3 less.   May be just an omission.  Someone who still email the parrot Mark M should follow that up   of course if they don't get funding, it won't matter

Worth reconisdering my post in response to the July 12 PR on incrasing size of demo plant.

I think the cost saving is still there if they get a working product but hey this is ucore.  Just look at that iron clad agreement with IbC/ MRT never have showed any competence  just a lot of mumbo jumbo on NRs and as ausheds likes to say " pdfs and glossies" love him our hate him, he isn't wrong

What is your basis for thinking RSX has a cost saving? Have you actually read the 3rd party report on RSX (which Ucore did not release), or did you only read the (possibly cherry picked and possibly misleading) summary issued in the Ucore PR? The Hykawy "independent" research report just parrots the PR and Ucore CEO pronouncements. Have you ever known Ucore PR's to tell something ...more

Actually, cost and/or time savings don't mean much at all.  If the process works and it is in N. America, it will be very valuable!
Comment by VeritasBob on Aug 24, 2022 8:57pm
Also, be wary of any pronouncements of "mechanically complete" regarding the demo plant. Process control software (algorithms and parameter values) and procedures, at scale, to include their tuning (optimization), are critical, likely highly non-trivial, and are not included in the definition of mechanically complete. Getting this aspect in good shape is probably not made easier by not ...more

This i could agree on firing the creators and then expanding sounds pretty stupid to me no one has given me any rational reason why I should take it in stride like its nothing
Comment by PipinoCuevas on Aug 24, 2022 9:04pm
and whats your basis thinking it doesnt? they said its 3x more cost efficiet, whatever that means capex 40% of SX and OPEX around 5-10% less do I believe them?   IDK but thats what was published your saying its cherry picked?   according to who? You? why would we believe u anymore than any other imbecil on this board?
