I emailed the company last week asking when they plan to start drilling at South Grass Valley.

Got a reply today, that they are working on a financing now to fund the drill program, then can make a schedule for the drilling.

My own guess would be we won't see too much upwards pressure on the share price before the financing is done, but after the financing is complete it's game on and let's go.  Hopefully it won't be too dilutive.

I wonder when we can expect a drill to get out there at the earliest?  Late August or Sept? Also will be interesting to see who participates in the financing, not hard to imagine Eric Sprott getting involved the way he is throwing millions around at juniors these days.  Today Sprott in the news participating in a $20 million financing for Erdene (Mongolia). Sprott was involved with this stock in its early days and he sold his shares a decade ago.  Sprott is not interested in this stock at this time.  This has already been explored.  There are many many many other mining companies with nice assets of 2-5 million ounces.  There is no reason for Sprott to waste his time on a company that has never even found an ounce of gold with

Well picture a scenario where NGE hits a good or great hole coming up here. I'd bet Sprott could get interested real quick, from hearing him talk he's the kind of guy that would get interested in the hydro science NGE has been using to find district scale Carlin gold once it looks like it's working.  He doesn't necessarily need proven ounces in the ground, remember he always

You are probably right, a great drill result speaks for itself, but if you also add the Sprott name and him talking up the stock every Friday to his weekly wrap up audience, it will be like a stock on steroids.  NGE is exactly the kind of potential he is looking for in a stock, but like many others probably just needs to see a hint of drill success before committing.

Should they hit good results and before results are released ,  I wonder would they stake more claims in other areas that could be promising. They do possess the data to tell them where if any more are available.  If they hit good results, I do not think they will need Sprott to do a financing. Good chance a major would be sniffing around and the bigger percent owned bya  fund or

It isn't NGE's science--other metals use this same method just didn't need the level of granularity in the data--parts per billion used to be too expensive/hard to perform for gold--now it isn't.  Science says they should be on the targets in general.  The drill we be the arbiter of truth.
