During the interview, Deepak Varshney highlighted the impressive advancements achieved during two phases of fieldwork and discussed their intentions for a third phase. Early-stage exploration of the project has been successful in identifying ten promising targets for lithium exploration.
Varshney went on to explain the methodology involved in pinpointing suitable locations for lithium deposits. He emphasized that analyzing geochemical signatures is a crucial aspect of this process.
Two key indicators they have been focusing on are cesium levels and the potassium-to-rubidium ratios. High-grade cesium levels, with some exceeding 500 ppm, indicate the presence of spodumene dikes, which are valuable sources of lithium.
