RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:VONE is THE public vanadium exploration property in N.A.Besides the catalysts for VONE that yixter mentioned (drill results, metallurgy test & a new resource estimate), I will also add:
- The other vanadium plays going up means the ones lagging will be aggressively looked at.
- As I've stated, there isn't a shale/vanadium play in production anywhere. That makes ones like VONE, hosted in magnetite with low titanium numbers (Ti gums things up in the processing) very valuable.
- The progress of VONE's neighbour, BlackRock Metals is key. They've raised almost $1.2 B, a lot of that from Quebec Inc. - all for the mine and the infrastructure needed...Why can't VONE use a lot of that infrastruture? - i.e. the port infrastructure being built makes VONE a lot more valid as a commercial mine.
- The quality of the people involved is something to look at. For example, Marty Walter, the new CEO, has been very involved in two very successful takeovers (Aquiline and Forrester)...A rich takeover - or a huge move in the SP - is obviously what he is shooting for, as he is not a person that runs mines.
- The vanadium price rise is working greatly in the favour of anyone who holds vanadium as an asset.
