The world uses 88 million barrels a day or 1 billion barrels every 12 days. Also, when he states reserves you must take 70% off of that to leave you with the retrievable oil so you are left with maybe 7-8 billion barrels. It's still a lot, but it won't feed America for long if other supplies dry up.
Still, at current prices it'll make some a great amount of money.
