RE: CFR-corporate update You fellas mind holding it down over here; I haven't filled my own basket with all I plan to yet,
so let's keep a lid on this for just a little while longer, k.
CFR did well on such a lousy day in the markets as Greece continues to weigh in. Fixing Greece is like puttin' lipstick on a pig........it's still a pig.
Speaking of pigs, looks like OxC-beta is having some impressive results in more than a few in this release.
Highlights in this release that I noted were:
1) Chemaphor has begun discussions with a number of mulitnational companies and is examining a variety of strategic channels to market Oximunol(TM) Chewables in various oversea markets."
It states on page 3 that, " In Europe and several other countries, the use of in-feed antibiotics has been banned for several years. However, no antibiotic alternative has been developed that has achieved widespread adoption by providing productivity benefits comparable to antibiotics.
Entering these areas with what is now a viable and result driven alternative, would receive an open-arm reception by both producers and the public alike.
2) Securing a US distribution agreement for Oximunol(TM) will be a significant milestone for Chemaphor, providing acess to the largest consumer base in the world, without incurring any increase in overhead or internal sales, marketing or advertising costs. Chemaphor has been in discussions with several companion animal-focused companies, including several multinationals with a strong presence in the US." " Our strategy to find partners with a known, reputable and strong footprint in the local markets....."
So, with accessing these huge multinationals and all the marketing and distribution power and clout they have behind them, CFR could provide to them a "ready to go" product that needs no modifications or planning on where to direct them within the market; royalty ready.
3) Chemaphor is preparing to develop a branded line of specialized pet products based on OxC-beta. These will be introduced in stages and marketed directly to consumers via the internet, specialty stores and pet boutiques.
No middle-man markup ........straight cash into the CFR kitty.
I couldn't help but note on page 3 that it also stated......
"Specifically, feeding OxC-beta to pigs at 10ppm reduced feed intake by 8.5%, yet provided the same amount of weight gain as pigs fed the control diet."
"Feed is the major cost of livestock production so a natural (non-antibiotic) additive that can improve growth, feed conversion efficiency and overall health of the animals can lead to significant benefits and cost savings for the producer."
But wait; that's not the best part.......
"Also, when challenged with a modified live viral exposure, pigs feed 10ppm OxC-beta showed significantly faster growth (approx 12%) compared to vaccinated controls."
Dang, they gave the pigs a cold/flu , perse, and while their cells were contending with fighting off a viral flu bug and exerting energy it that direction, it still resulted in a 12% greater growth rate than those not feed the OxC-beta.............wow!
It's kinda like when I go for a hike in -15 weather and alot of my energy is converted into the body trying to create heat to keep me warm so that there is not the supply of energy to go to other production avenues, ie, creating muscle or weight gain.
Lastly, what stood out to me was that ........."Chemaphor is being provided with expert regulatory consulting service and is in discussions with international distributors for collaborative and cost-sharing arrangements for commericalization of OxC-beta.
It appears I've lucked out on perfect timing to discover CFR, in that, I may not have been around for its inception but it looks like I've made in time for the birth........<grin>
