RE: TSX / Alpha

RE: TSX / AlphaI had quite the chat recently with TD Waterhouse. They provide real time quotes from the TSX while executing almost all sub 1.00 trades on the Alpha. Of course they have ownership in the Alpha. Talk about a lack of transparency. Anyways I learned that if you specify a good to date, even if it is the current day, it will force your trade to be executed on the TSX and hence be reflected in the Bid/Ask that is displayed. So if you want it on the TSX don't tick the good til today box, instead enter the good to date.
