Contradiction

Which is it - 4 tonnes yields 230,000 bottles or 1 tonne yields 111,111,000 bottles?

Year ended Nov/2019 MDA filed April 3/2020:

The Corporation has completed several milestones to date:
1. Formulation of nine barium contrast products.
2. Commencement of Health Canada review of five barium products.
3. Implemented Iodine research and development studies for formulation for the first five iodine
products.
4. Purchased 2,000,000 grams of Barite and ordered an additional 2,000,000 grams of Barite made
in order to produce approximately 230,000 of bottles of barium contrast for sale to market.

Sept 22/22 NR:

To put the number in perspective, 1,000 tonnes of pharmaceutical grade barium sulfate, can create:

  • Approximately 111,111,000 bottles of SmoothX smoothie contrast media, or

  • Approximately 3,000,000 bottles of HDX powdered contrast media

2 000 000 grams = 2 tonnes. If 2 tonnes can do 230 000 bottles then 1000 tonnes can do 115 000 000 bottles. Simple math.
Comment by lscfa on Sep 23, 2022 4:06pm
4 tonnes = 230,000 bottles so 1000 tonnes = 57,500,000 bottles, not 111,111,000.

That sentence is worded a little weird but imo it's referring to the additional 2 000 000 can do 230k

Or their new technology found a way to double the production. That data is 2-3 years old

From Bracco site, smoothies have 9 grams, powdered has 320g.
