BYD wins order for 1002 busses

Compare this now with BUS' orders for 5 busses, and the overvalued stock price of $3+. Here is the link for people to confirm for themselves - https://insideevs.com/news/466616/colombia-byd-cumulative-orders-1002-ev-buses/

Except for the fact that they come from China.  We'll see how much of Biden's Green dollars will go to them.  Or Canada for that matter.  of which BUS will be setup on both sides and currently has buses built in the States.  Plus the prices of their buses are very competitive.  Why do you think they is not talk of the North America in the article?  You're ...more

Facts speak clearly. Some companies sell 1002 busses, BUS sells 5. Great sales for BUS, and as we all see the stock market expectations exceed the unbeatable results of 5 busses sold. What more to say? Look forward to seeing or not another 5 or why not 10 busses for the remaining months of 2021.

Absurd statement. Who are you to say they can't all of a sudden announce an order for 20,30 or 50 plus EV orders. We just don't know. I personally sold all my shares right now. Hoping for a pullback in the market and a pull back in Bus to perhaps take a new position. 2012 looks to be dynamic time for a second kick of the can for Bus.

I agree.  If they can get a US order for 90 buses then they can get more.   This guy is going to have to try harder here.   Shorter or getting paid for his comments.  Good Luck !

He is certainly a lot more convincing at pumping NXO.  Looking at some history.  That's for sure.

Too many IFs in the equation, don't you think? BYD 1002 busses order, BUS 5 busses, no more comments.

BYD has a manufacturing facility in California. A Chinese company with U.S. operations. BYD has supplied half of the approx 1000 EV buses currently operating in the U.S.  If GWT had a such a spectacular product then why did Edmonton go with Proterra? GWT is late to the game, but I'm sure they will get enough orders to keep going. A $1B company? I doubt that, considering their operations ...more

I dont think the U.S. facilty will be a production facility; im thinking it will be more of a final assembly facility similar to what the current Aldergrove facility is. i.e. Get spartan to do the chassis and whatever else they are contracted to do, ship it to Washington and add seats and whatever else.

I'd like to hear some sort of update regarding the Spartan relationship.
Comment by MrAnswers on Jan 18, 2021 8:59pm
Yeah. For all we know Spartan told them to pound sand for lack of orders...
