VentriPoint Diagnostics Ltd V.VPT

Alternate Symbol(s):  VPTDF

Ventripoint Diagnostics Ltd is a Canada-based medical device company. The Company is engaged in the development and commercialization of diagnostic tools that monitor patients with heart disease. It is developing a suite of applications for all heart diseases and imaging modalities, including congenital heart disease, pregnancy, pulmonary hypertension, COVID-19, imaging, and cardiotoxicity in oncology patients. The Company’s Ventripoint Medical System (VMS+) is a diagnostic aid that was developed to provide a point-of-care solution to better communicate the heart’s structure and function without the need for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). VMS+ enhances ultrasound, providing three-dimensional (3D) technology that allows for visualization of all four chambers of the heart. The system’s proprietary Knowledge Based Reconstruction (KBR) technology creates 3D models of the heart and calculates volumes and ejection fractions equivalent to the gold-standard Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

RE:RE:news

RE:RE:newsAttached is the news release announcing the installation of our heart analysis system at King’s College Hopsital in London.  Here is some additional background:

1.    Professor Monaghan is the Author/Editor of 3 books on echocardiography and senior or first author on many peer reviewed echocardiography papers. He is also an organiser and speaker at multiple national and international cardiology and echocardiography conferences.  Clearly a Knowledge and Opinion Leader (KOL).
2.    KCH is a centre for COVID patients and Professor Monaghan is actively dealing with the heart complications in acute and long COVID patients.  We believe this will be major new application for the VMS approach to heart analysis.
3.    We were able to install the VMS+3.0 device in spite of the COVID situation in the UK, which like elsewhere, worsen over the holiday season.  This is a testament to the dedication of our team and the clinicians at KCH.
4.    KCH has had access to prototype VMS devices for some time.  This is the first time they have started to use the VMS for clinical purposes.  This development again shows the acceptance the VMS+3.0 is receiving by users, who continue to tell us the new device addresses all the shortcomings of the VMS+2.0 model.
5.    This is the fourth installation into a major hospital (MD Anderson, Erasmus Medical Centre, Toronto General) in 4 months and continues our strategy of getting the top innovative cardiologists operational and talking about the merits off the VMS to others.
6.    We have other devices ready to be installed as soon as hospitals are able to receive them.  As you can imagine, this will be dependent on the COVID situation in their region.
7.    We have cash to operate for severall months and continue to advance collaborations, alliances, product development and sales, while we wait for hospital echocardiography services to re-open.  We also continue to support our users as they validate the meritorious use of the VMS+3.0 on children and adults with heart conditions.

As always, thank you for your continued support and interest.

Regards,
