Alternate Symbol(s):  VPTDF

Ventripoint Diagnostics Ltd is a Canada-based medical device company. The Company is engaged in the development and commercialization of diagnostic tools that monitor patients with heart disease. It is developing a suite of applications for all heart diseases and imaging modalities, including congenital heart disease, pregnancy, pulmonary hypertension, COVID-19, imaging, and cardiotoxicity in oncology patients. The Company’s Ventripoint Medical System (VMS+) is a diagnostic aid that was developed to provide a point-of-care solution to better communicate the heart’s structure and function without the need for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). VMS+ enhances ultrasound, providing three-dimensional (3D) technology that allows for visualization of all four chambers of the heart. The system’s proprietary Knowledge Based Reconstruction (KBR) technology creates 3D models of the heart and calculates volumes and ejection fractions equivalent to the gold-standard Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

What did I miss?

What did I miss?
I have been off the Internet, and in the country hiking in the woods and enjoying life for over a week.

The price action for this stock is incredible!.

First, congratulations to the longs, and traders.

Those who bought in at the nadir in December, may have  had a double-if they sold, which is pretty sweet.

Those who are much longer, at least are approaching their cost basis, which must feel good.

I looked for news that would be driving this, however, on my initial review I did not find anything material-so what did I miss?

The delivery of the machine in the UK, had been announced before I took a break, and this never was clearly a sale, so more of the same.

Moving into veterinary medicine, does open up a market, but comes with some risks.
is this another situation, where the machines are going to be tested for prolonged periods before being implemented/accepted?
The sales still have not been realized after years of this technology, not withstanding the recent advances and the new 3.0.
Also, how will this be moved forward with research and marketing sales? There are extremely limited funds-and they are needed to keep the lights on.

The big question always is, to me, who is on the other side of the trade.

I see some soft data, with insiders exercising warrants, but there is also some fairly significant sales occurring that have been reported as of yesterday.
Time will tell, if these are true new long-term investors, or traders, insiders…

So this is the data, but as I read through a few of the posts, I see lots of speculation…
China investors are buying in now, a buyout from a Chinese company, new investors who are under the story motivated by the veterinary, and of course the one that has been posted many many times, new sales contract that will be announced any day

The problem with all of the speculation, is that it is just that.

I went through and read many of the boards all the way back and I have heard similar rumors about sales, new contracts etc. etc. but none of them came through.

As I mentioned, I invest based on facts and the data, and that led me not to make an investment, because the working capital is negative, and the company unless it has a cash infusion, or dilutes, will not be a going entity within the year.(and thats based on Unaudited finacials)

These are the facts, whether people like it or not, it is based on review of the financials, and no one here has yet disputed that.  Is not bashing, it is evidence-based investing.
If it is bashing -blame the directors-its thier publication/data-not mine

The problem is, that parabolic moves, when unsupported by factual data, in the end come back to earth.

As Benjamin Graham said- In the short run the stock market is a voting machine, but in the long run it is a weighing machine.

So we need some news to weigh or this will risk losing support and coming back to earth.

To the speculators, congratulations and enjoy it-you deserve all of it, and I hope it continues for you.

I will check in every now and then as new data comes out and keep watching to see what I can learn.  Because in terms of speculation, I have lots to learn
