RE: More guidance needed about Expedia contract

RE: More guidance needed about Expedia contractThe company has gone through several IR firms starting with an announcement in March 2001 where they paid $50K USD for 1 year, then Nov 1, 2002 where they paid $4,500 per month for 3 months and then the latest in Dec 2003 for $4K for 3 months. I have no idea if they have gotten any value for their money. I do not find the recent hiring suspicious in any way. As for the chances of getting the Expedia deal renewed for Feb 2005, you can be sure they are working on it. While it is certainly of great importance to VRW, I would think it is also of grave importance to Expedia as it seems to be a recipe for success. If you look through the history of news releases dating back to 2000 on the VRW website you will find that they have a history of further contracts with some key customers including Intrawest, Virgin Holidays, Bermuda Department of Tourism & Carnival Cruises. The additional increased R&D expenditures may be related to helping the company maintain their important clients & hopefully expand the business they currently have with them. Cheers!!!
