Would it be safe to say that Shorts are in trouble with all the upwards movement in the last month?

I have a hard time believing 500 thousand short shares can really make much of a difference when were trading 5 million plus shares a day .... l can't understand how that small a number can alter the course ???

Bliggy you are quite right on that statement won't do any thing unless it runs up hard most of the shorts are i believe are the big boys not the small guys like us shorting is not for the faint at heart or deep pockets cheers SP

They can't, it's not shorts. I believe it's a release of warrants keeping the price a little erratic. IMO

Strange the day the short count comes out we skyrocket up to .54 from a low of .39

Not really ive made a living this way. Its called a stop election. The short trade is a bit crowded, and this is how bulls are born

A case could be made selling at 77 cents on jan 5th, for a very nimble trader indeed, but at 45 cents isn't good risk reward. More like suicide. Im short S&P500, heavily short CDN financials and the TSX. Long ACP, VXL, VST. Sorry if im off topic just love to trade.

Interesting...shorting Canadian banks ....how do you feel about the real-estate markets ...are you expecting the pandemic will eventually crush the economy ???

I dont see how lockdowns (coming to USA soon) can be bullish for the economy and people paying their bills. I feel extremely bad for small business owners, you know that most of the economy is employed by some form of small business or at least it used to be. Real estate itself well where are you buying or selling. I am an urban seller and a rural buyer

Yes those rural properties have been very strong. So many are looking to exit cities these days there are not many rural properties to go around. I dont see a change in that trend anytime soon

With 100's of thousands of businesses failing under the pressure of the lockdown the day of reckoning has to be coming .....debt levels have never been higher ....ect its gotta get ugly at some point

Yes I agree...unfortunately but it is what it is. That old saying comes to mind, i owe you a million, im screwed, i owe you 100 million you're screwed. Making think too much these days. I need to get an alternative brokerage acct set up asap. Just incase.

Canadian banks are sitting at all time highs ...raising interest rates right now would cause alot of bankruptcies and house foreclosures....can't see rates going up yet but eventually that day will come

Yep. If someone owed you 1M these days would rate would want to make the risk worth it? I wouldn't lend 1M to anyone.

What was the finishing price? Exactly, a little pop mid day because of a crappy video and you get back to where you started with some penny pinchers making day trades. Pretty simple

Jlane last was .45 and .372 OTC. Price action today very little to do with the video. Blame it on that if you want to...

Nothing new in that video ....but in my opinion we have a biotechnology company here that could easily go parabolic at any time and we have market manipulators holding the momentum down while their clients are exercising warrants ...this stock has huge demand and it's ready to fly when they take they finally ease the brakes off ...anytime now !!!

Yep. already had parabolic move. Certainly a lot of potential and the chart setup is looking good, it may need till next week, im good with it holding ground just fine. With such a move to 77cents the oscillators are very over heated and need to unwind that momentum. Thats whats happening right now. Traders/algos cannot buy at such levels. I couldn't buy at 77 cents. 10 cents yes.

I'm sure you saw the bull pennant charts being displayed today ....same guy called the last parabolic move also no news yet so far this year ...we are way over due ...you certainly want to be holding going into the weekend

I am holding. My system picked this up last march. Had a parabolic move back then on smaller scale but nevertheless. Oscillators over heat and we consolidate same old same old. Lots of volume, flat prices, I started buying afterwards. It did not break weekly support not once, i agree i do believe we have another leg up

51.5, 56.5, 60.5, and 81 are resistance. Once those levels are broken they become support if that helps you. I am not saying this will happen tomorrow neccesarily.

You hope it does, get it right. Look around a lot of speculative biotech companies working on a vaccine are up a lot more then this dog turd. Vaxil has been taking their merry old time trying to prove to whoever will listen they got something, as other companies finish the race. We're hoping rats don't die while they are pushing out product. Oral no chance/ rats don't die, you better

Fair enough Jlane, you shouldnt boil this down to a single linear cause and effect. There are 2 sides to every market, im well aware, without you i cant make money afterall. $-)
