Large Graphic Displays According to industry analysts, the market for televisions 25-inches in size and greater is estimated to be more than US$64 billion in annual sales by 2006. iFire’s strategy is to become the dominant supplier of high definition display modules for large-screen flat panel televisions. The Company will initially target the mid-30-inch screen size market, which is not effectively served by incumbent flat panel display technologies. In partnership with major industry players, iFire plans to begin panel production in the 2006 timeframe. As part of its strategy for the consumer television market, iFire entered a non-exclusive technology collaboration agreement with Sanyo Electric Company, Ltd. and a joint development agreement with Dai Nippon Printing Company Ltd. The agreements focus on the advancement of iFire’s thick-film dielectric electroluminescent (TDEL) technology for large-screen flat panel television production. Highlights of the technology collaboration with Sanyo include: * Non-exclusive agreement to jointly develop iFire’s TDEL technology * Exclusive use of any joint developments in the electroluminescent display sector * Access to Sanyo’s marketing and engineering expertise * Strong endorsement of iFire’s TDEL technology from a global television industry leader * Joint development projects aimed at moving iFire’s TDEL technology closer to commercial production of large-sized flat panel modules for consumer televisions Highlights of the joint development agreement with Dai Nippon Printing: * Non-exclusive agreement to jointly develop iFire™ technology for commercial production of mid-30-inch screen size flat panel television modules * Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) to utilize its primary production line in Kashiwa, Japan for the front-end manufacturing of iFire’s TDEL displays * Access to DNP's manufacturing expertise
