According to the WGF map, there is someone between GXS and WGF to the south. Some of that appears to be Mr MacNeill also. Depending on what the two MacNeill's intents are, the map will be very exciting very soon. No update on the Sask Atlas yet. Maybe they are for sale for several $ millions to the highest bidder. Maybe they will keep them in the family. Who knows. The picture is changing rapidly, though. And not for the good of the other plays so far, IMO. The NAG / WER area is still a big question mark.
However, I have been getting 4 hours sleep for almost two months trying to figure out what was north of GXS. That area is basically flat and lake-free, and is the cherry of the area play locations, IMO, other than the far northwest WGF area along the Pasquia Hills slope. The Pasqia NW has the Favel shales outcropping, meaning that the coal stratigraphy is very close to surface, IMO.
