I’m earning a masters degree in sociology and this is a fine source of learning about human behaviour! Greed, denial, irrational aspirations, grief and loss, this is a treasure trove of learning opportunity! You’ve heard no doubt of the old situation where a monkey finds a treat in a jar, reaches in and closes its fist on the prize? I’m sure the Saskatchewan educational syste. Is top notch so you know the rest of the story! Fascinating though that we, who consider ourselves the superior being will do the same even where there IS NO visible prize? All we need is a glass jar, and some ...... well , someone, to roo about a perceived prize! Even the regulators who’s job it is to insure fair value exchange for real prizes, or at least in part, seem to be enthralled but the game! It is astounding!
