Lundin says buy Wolverine near current levels

2011-05-20 17:11 ET - In the News

Brien Lundin in the May, 2011, edition of the Gold Newsletter says buy Wolverine Minerals Corp., recently 56 cents. This is the first time he has recommended the stock. Wolverine has optioned from Strategic Metals Ltd. a Yukon land package of 17 properties in Dawson Range and 10 properties in the Finlayson district. The company is conducting prospecting, mapping, soil geochemistry and sampling at the BBB, CCC and DDD-Shamrock properties in Dawson Range. Samples from BBB in the 1980s returned up to 27.3 grams per tonne gold. The company is also digging trenches at the String and Hoole properties in Finlayson. String hosts a gold-arsenic-antimony anomaly about 1,500 metres by 400 metres. At Hoole, samples have returned up to 10.34 g/t gold. Mr. Lundin says Finlayson is underexplored. Wolverine intends to start drilling at CCC, DDD-Shamrock and String in late summer this year. It will provide Archer Cathro & Associates (1981) Ltd. $5-million for exploration for the season. Archer Cathro has worked on some of the properties included in the optioned land package. The Wolverine share price has gone as high as 84 cents in fall 2010 and 90 cents earlier this year but is now at a good price for buying in.
