Right now we have 3 types of sellers. Sell the news crowd, weak hands and short sellers. The short sellers set up 2 accounts, one is short selling and the other is buying back what they are selling to cover their short position. Because weak hands and sell the news crowd is more than enough to cover the short position a lot of short selling isn't required so the stock is easily manipulated downward. The game is to get as many shares as possible without making the stock run too high. You will notice it's mostly the same house that has been selling for quite some time now.
