No sophisticated buyer is going to drop hundreds of millions of dollars with less than 3-6 months of due diligence, negotiation, financing discussions, etc... And believe me, Brookfield is sophisticated. One could argue that a quick sale would be possible if the price was dirt cheap, but that's not the case here... even if WND is indeed a bargain at what we would consider a fair price.
I'm all for a quick, orderly, and lucrative sale process to get the maximum amount for my shares, but let's be realistic and not spread false hopes of a closed sale by the end of September.
