Trust me adding 6000 at the open (note I posted the bid before it went up ) was an easy choice  IF all we do get is the $3.18 that alone would bring me $2400  I happen to have 50,000 shares though and think $3.50 will be nice :  )

I will admit, April, that you have far more credibility that 95% of the posters here..........well, maybe 99% Some of these guys are simply loons.

I finally figured it out, April and Baken are married and probability is the son!
Comment by Aprilk on Dec 28, 2012 11:02am
lol Good one !  So I think Peter is $4 , a few others $5 , Prob $3 , Agross is still doing fundamental projections and the sane folks $3.18 -$3.50 area
Comment by jonathanstjohn2 on Dec 28, 2012 11:05am
So Peter or Improb what is this going to sell for? Jeff just said the value was way more than the $2.50 Brookfield offer. Please translate. How much is way more? Is $4.00 likely? Or realistic? I don't mean conservative and an arcane calculation won't help. Also when is D-day guys? Obviosly by Jan 31 but do you expect an earlier announcement? I hope J-mart is right-but it sounds high, but ...more

JSJ please reply to April's latest post please. I am trying to be a nicer person going into 2013 :).

April you need to get a new ougii board. Keep it in the same drawer as your other, ahem, accessories. In fact get new accessories too. You deserve them.
Comment by peter75 on Dec 28, 2012 11:16am
here is my calculation and it is final ATTENTION ALL SUITORS HERE IS HOW YOU VALUE WND April said 3.18 Mart says 5.00, I say 4.00 reversion to the mean is 4.06 This is the sell price, Do I make myself clear? FYI wnd was at 3.75 in 2004, and in 2008, perhaps we use 3.75
Comment by ching819 on Dec 28, 2012 11:24am
Perfect JSJ. Many thanks.   Ching.

Thanks Peter. That makes sense to me! The middle road. By the way I just called IR to see if April bloviated some information (14 days) out of them. They're closed till Jan 2. So it looks like she is sliming us again for no reason. Very anti-social.
Comment by ching819 on Dec 28, 2012 11:30am
Peter I thing you mean regression. And, in fact, we were close to 4.40 in 2008 before the meltdown, no fault of WND's. Does that change your calculation ?
Comment by peter75 on Dec 28, 2012 11:41am
ching do not get confused with simple linear regression because you would have to do more than one sapmple reversion to the mean is the coming back to the centre or mid point It only hit 3.75 on a spike in 2008 If you have a graph that shows 4.40 I stand corrected but  for now you are wrong
Comment by ching819 on Dec 28, 2012 11:47am
4.35 on June 3, 2008.

To quote Carl Perkins: "I was THERE when it happened..."  Ching doth speak the truth.   I cleared my ignore list this morning. Took me several hours to wade through this message board after that. Good times.   Cheers, El Joro
Comment by eljoro on Dec 28, 2012 12:10pm
FYI, one of the reasons for the short spike to $4.30 was because several analysts appeared on BNN's Market Call around that time touring WND. One even suggested it might go to $8! Was one of the reasons I didn't sell at the time. WND-X 2008-06-11 BUY James West Has been in the wind generation business since the 80& ...more
