Will be close

The pre-payment of the change of control provision has always raised my eye brows.  The answer Jeff gave on the conference call did not satisfy me.   Regardless of how you feel about Konrad, his last article did not help Jeff's cause and Jeff's subsequent e-mail to Konrad did not help Jeff's cause either.  I think Jeff will be kicking himself if BEP just makes it over 50%.  It is likely that e-mail may have been the reason for some to swithch their position to tendering.  An e-mail like that,in my opinion, could affect how people view Jeff's judgmenet. If BEP is close but not quite there, it is likely they will make one last push. It is difficult to see them walking away if they are that close.

I am a share holder and I am not concerned about Jeff ! If you listen to the CC he is asked about his actions ! He also explains why he did what he did ! You enjoy twisting things into your advantage ! I am still not tendering my 100 shares to YOUR company !!

Firefly I know exactly what you are here for too !!.. But you guys are not going to have any impact on the final outcome on February 21st. BEP wins !!... no doubt about it. You guys have lost in your agenda of misleading retail investors in WND. The media has brought out the truth for all to see. No more misleading and sucking the shareholders dry. "the only hope of Western Wind shareholders getting a better price is by Brookfield not obtaining the minimum tender and publicly saying it is walking away." --------------------------------------------------------------- I suppose it all boils down to that one sentence. If you believe Brookfield will simply walk away, and sell their WND shares, then holding might make sense. I just don& ...more

Then Bakken if you are saying that Brookfield will not walk away and will not tender their shares, why would you tender at $2.60 and allow them their bounty. By refusing, according to your treaste, Brookfield would bid higher since it will not walk away.  You paniced Bakken and its your fault, not the management of WND who told you to hold tight.

Bakken you forget the funds who have locked up with Brookfield have ther agreement expire on the 21st. What makes you think any of those funds do not care for only themselves.  A dog barks for his house not the neighbourhood, therefore many of those funds will break on the 21st and let the stck get downsold by the "I want no drame blokes" like you and double down and buy whatever ...more
