Xander Resource to Fly VTEM Survey at Timmins Nickel Project

Xander Resources Engages Geotech to Fly VTEM Survey at Timmins Nickel Project

(via TheNewswire)

Vancouver, British Columbia – TheNewswire - November 22, 2021 – Xander Resources Inc. (“Xander” or the “Company”) (TSXV:XND) (OTC:XNDRF) (FSX:1XI) is pleased to announce that further to its news release dated November 4, 2021 announcing commencement of fieldwork at its Timmins Nickel Project (the “Property”), it has contracted the services of Geotech Airborne Geophysical Surveys to carry out a 163 line-kilometre VTEM survey.

The survey is expected to be flown in late-February and will be completed over the 50 claims contiguous to Canada Nickel’s MacDiarmid Project that comprise the “South Block” of the Property (as shown in Figure 1 below) where in May 2021, Canada Nickel announced a secondary discovery through the identification of significant intersections of mineralized dunite similar to the average mineralization initially discovered at Crawford. Geophysical surveys reveal that the MacDiarmid target to be approximately 1.8 kilometres long indicating a structural footprint averaging 400 meters in width – 15% larger than Canada Nickel’s original Crawford’s Main Zone discoveryi.

The objective of the geophysical survey is to build upon a historical magnetic survey which has identified magnetic targets indicative of mafic-ultramafic bodies favourable to hosting magmatic sulphides. The Company expects to have interpretations completed and initial drill targets selected shortly thereafter for drill testing.

Xander CEO Deepak Varshney, comments: "Utilizing the VTEM, with its exceptional ability to identify deep hidden structures, should provide us a much clearer picture of what targets to prioritize for our first drill program. The VTEM data will provide the final pieces to our puzzle by connecting modern geophysics with associated geological evidence as we work towards a potential important new discovery at our Timmins Project."

I watched a broadcast this morning hosted by Canada Nickel with Mark Selby (CEO) providing an excellent overview where he and his team are taking CNC in a market where there's huge demand for nickel. With the push for EVs, the demand for Ni & Cu will continue to be under lots of pressure and Xander Resources finds itself in a great neighbourhood in the Timmins Camp and with the Xander ...more

I wonder what Xander's share value will be after solid drill results?

That's a very nice anomaly that runs into XNDs property from our neighbor CNC. I don't think people realize what we have here!

I'd have to agree Buddy1, according to CNC, this anomaly on the MacDiarmid Project is 15% larger than their Crawfor Project. With a surging demand for nickel due to battery metals, the location and timing for Xander couldn't be better.
Comment by Buddy1 on Nov 26, 2021 12:58pm
CNC has been rallying up all week. People don't realize what XND has here beside CNC property.
Comment by RoundDBlock on Nov 26, 2021 4:16pm
With boots on the ground and a VTEM scheduled to be completed by the end of 02/22, investors will soon realize who Xander shares the neighborhood with in the Timmins Camp. There's no stopping this macro-trend in the demand for nickel as an essential battery metal. Today, with the markets in a sea of red, $XND $XNDRF is up 11% on great volume with much of that coming from south of the border ...more
