It doesn't matter what the market for 2.4 or 5.0 is...the "market" is saying this release adds nothing to credibility..it is more of the same rah rah bs. YFI has to show proof of concept to move it further... all the news releases in the world will not move this company regardless of the cheerleading and carrots offered in theses types of press releases. Hard numbers for revenue guidance, contracts etc. is all that is going to be relied on to move this . They have cried wolf one too many times.
PS...there will always be a market for 2.4 or 5.0 as some apps/devices just work better on certain channels. I have both frequencies in my house and use the 2.4 channel...less frequently than 5.0 but when I want a little further distance from my AP....ps...if you are using the iPad in bed with the heated blanket on...neither frequency works...and that is what YFI is trying to solve.
