Continuation patents can be new, or older
Whatever does the job.
This additional patent award further deepens Edgewater's leadership in multilink operation (MLO), arguably the most significant feature in the WiFi7 specification. Edgewater's spectrum slicing is the only technology that force multiplies the available channels, or links, within a single Wi-Fi band, effectively allowing for the highest link density in the industry -- improving latency by 50 per cent and increasing aggregate Wi-Fi throughput seven to 18 times in real-world Wi-Fi environments.
Discrediting YFI`s claims is another story. Try it, and we will see how you make out. lol

If you add pin stripes to your old car, does it become a new car? Maybe to you it does.

Pinstripes won't do it but if I change the EGR valve for the $1100 bucks they want that will do it. Emissions control -- gold plated no doubt.

No, you can wrap single channel wifi in fancy plastic, add all the doodads you want over 20 years. and at the end of the day it`s still lipstick on a pig. You should look into what they are doing in regards to an upcoming new multi channel wi-fi chip old man if you want to see NEW. lol
