RE:Question Can only assume that what we see now is based on best guess of interpreted historical drilling. ygt has all the historical information of previous drilling Unfortunately that drilling was not as deep or focused as what GP is doing now with latest greatest technologies. The site was explored at a depth known to GP ....what we are looking at today will change based on this deeper drilling and will produce gold ....we wait to see how much and with that the fact we are going deeper ...the profile will change. The indicators are all there hence more drilling on this target. ( one of many YGT has ).
GP is not doing this for fun ....he is on to something, he is showing it with each hole and he knows something of consequence is there or better said a very high degree of confidence something is there.
his tenacity is remarkable but backed by years of hands on experience, a huge amount of historical info with a very knowledgeable team on a highly unexplored deposit.
the NWT and YK area is riddled with mines that closed in the early 90s when gold was 300 an oz, con was a victim of that. At the time miners saw greener easier pastures but failed to investigate what they had with a high grade type deposit that con is....GP will awaken a potential sleeping giant on a site with potential 150-200 hundred million of existing infrastructure ....sure there is chance involved but few add up like what this site amounts to.
