one program finishes and another starts

one program finishes and another startsJune 28, 2006 YALE FINISHES DRILL PROGRAM AT THE MAKURU GOLD PROPERTY AND IS SET TO START PHASE 2 DRILLING AT THE LEICESTER COPPER PROPERTY. Yale Resources Ltd. (TSX-V - YLL and Frankfurt - YAB) is pleased to report that a proposed 1,100 metre phase two core drilling program at the Leicester copper property, located in northern Namibia, southwest Africa, is set to start in approximately two weeks. In addition the Company is pleased to announce that the reverse circulation (RC) program at the Makuru gold property has concluded successfully. Both the Leicester and Makuru properties are optioned from Helio Resource Corp. (TSX-V - HRC). Leicester copper property Although this program will centre on core drilling, the program will also involve initial exploration approximately 4 kilometres to the north of the Rehderstal target in an area where historical maps indicate additional copper showings. There will be two distinct targets for the upcoming core program and these will be tested with a combination of deep and shallow holes. The deep holes are planned to test the potential for the Rehderstal target area to host mineralization similar to that of the Zambian Copperbelt – the single largest copper resource in Africa. Several drill holes from last years RC drill program intersected over 100 metres of shales and sandstones within ‘sedimentary basins’ located immediately to the north of the Rehderstal fault – a regional thrust fault that crosses the entire width of the Leicester property. The deposits of the Zambian Copperbelt tend to occur at or near the lower contact between favourable sedimentary rocks and the underlying intrusive basement rocks and locally appear to have an association with regional thrust faults. At Rehderstal the depth to the basement rocks in the eastern basin remains unknown and this potential area will be a key target of the upcoming core drill program. The shallow holes are planned to confirm the open pit potential for oxide copper in Zones A and G. Both Zone A and G have plus 1% copper in trenches (for example 1.0 % Cu over 13.5 m in Zone A and 1.5 % Cu over 10.2 m in Zone G – please see news release dated Sept. 27, 2005) and had encouraging results from the phase 1 drilling completed in December of last year (please see news release dated January 12, 2006), which intersected broad zones of oxide copper. These zones of oxide copper are intimately associated with the Rehderstal fault and these drill holes will test the strike extent of these zones. Selected intervals from the last drill program are: Hole From (m) To (m) Interval (m) Cu(%) Target LER-05-03 32 44 12 0.71 G LER-05-10 70 86 16 0.49 A LER-05-11 0 10 10 0.48 A and 14 22 8 0.41 A The Leicester copper property has excellent infrastructure: being crossed by both a paved highway as well as the national power grid. A rail head that leads to Tsumeb - a historic copper district in Namibia and home to the country’s only copper smelter - is located approximately 100 km to the east. Yale Resources Ltd. News Release – Jun. 28, 2006 Page 2 of 2 Makuru gold property The Makuru RC drill program has recently concluded successfully. Thirteen (13) holes were drilled for a total of 1,740 metres. All sample results are pending and are expected over the next several weeks. Chris MacKenzie, M.Sc., C.Geol., Helio’s Executive Chairman and a Qualified Person as designated by NI 43-101, supervised the sampling and quality control programs at Makuru and has reviewed the technical content of this news release. Drill samples from Makuru were riffle-split into one metre samples, which were then usually homogenized and split to form two-metre composite samples and sent to the laboratory. On behalf of the Board, “Ian Foreman” Ian Foreman, P.Geo. President
